Visit us for immersive museum-based events in which you'll meet different characters and take part in a range of activities.

We will be reviewing Life in a Castle and A Dragon's Tale once the Castle Keep reopens.

Life in a Castle KS1

Learn about life in a medieval Castle as you help prepare for a joust. Take part in object-handling and a tour, and make your own pennant to keep.

Please note: Due to the Castle Keep redevelopment project, Life in a Castle is currently paused.

A Dragon's Tale KS1/Lower KS2 Literacy

Can the cowardly knight convince the king that he is brave enough to marry his daughter? Help him to invent a tale of bravado in which he slays a fearsome beast.

Free for pre-booked term-time visits by schools in Norfolk; £2.40 per pupil for pre-booked term-time visits by schools outside Norfolk (under-4s free). Max 60 pupils, subject to availability. Accompanying adults free in a reasonable ratio.
