Animal Explorers! EYFS
One, two, three - what can you see? Explore our amazing Natural History galleries and discover creatures that can swim, fly and crawl! Featuring a mixture of story, song and play aimed at stimulating curiosity and imagination.
Rats, Cats and Bats! EYFS
Explore the Castle through the eyes of some of the animals that have called it home over the last 1000 years. Creep around the basement like rats, prance through the King's Chamber as cats and flap up to the battlements as bats! Engage your senses in this exploratory event specifically for nursery settings and reception classes.
Museum Adventurers! EYFS
Join us for a playful open-ended trip around our galleries, designed to support a child-led approach to visiting somewhere new. Explore the galleries at your own pace, with invitations to play and investigate along the way. Our specialist Early Years practitioner will work with you to tailor the visit to support the needs and interests of your children, and on the day, a member of our Learning Team will be with you to ensure that everyone has an amazing adventure together. Museum Adventurers! has been developed together with children and adults from a local Early Years setting.

Free for pre-booked term-time visits by groups or schools in Norfolk; £2.40 per child for pre-booked term-time visits by groups or schools outside Norfolk (under-4s free). Max 60 children, subject to availability. Accompanying adults free in a reasonable ratio.
